RAMALLAH, October 29, 2009 (WAFA)- Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) issued Construction Cost Index (CCI) which Decreased by 0.10% in the West Bank- Excluding those parts of Jerusalem which were annexed by Israel in 1967- in September 2009 Compared with the Previous Month.
The overall Construction Cost Index (CCI) reached 107.72 in September 2009 with a decrease of 0.10% compared with previous month, (December 2007=100).
Analyzed of Construction Cost developments for September indicates a decrease in the cost of the following major construction inputs: Plastic products and health tools by - 0.43%; Tiles and Panels from Ceramic by - 0.41%; Iron and steel by - 0.20%.
At the same time, there was an increased in the cost of the following major groups: Cement, lime & gypsum by + 0.17%; Cutting and shaping stones by + 0.15%; cement products by + 0.11%.
