RIYADH, April 30, 2008, (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas held on Wednesday evening talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at his ranch in Al-Janadriya on the outskirts of the city of Riyadh.

President Abbas and the King discussed the latest developments of the Palestinian cause and the peace process in the region.

The two leaders also tackled the Arab and International efforts to save the peace process and reach a just and comprehensive peace that guarantees self determination for the Palestinian people and establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital.

President Abbas briefed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the outcomes of his recent two visits to the USA and Russia.
