TUNIS, April 30, 2008, (WAFA)-President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy affirmed on Wednesday, at the end of a three-day state visit to Tunisia, that he would support President's Mahmoud Abbas efforts to achieve developments in the Palestinian territory.
At the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology (INSAT), President Sarkozy said that the security of Israelis is bound to ending the Israeli occupation and establishing a viable, democratic and modern Palestinian state with the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Reviewing the Middle East crisis, French President called for putting an end to the sufferings of the region’s peoples, pointing up the need to set up a modern and viable state for the Palestinians.
