President Abbas to Meet Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

RIYADH, April 29, 2008, (WAFA) - Ambassador in Riyadh Jamal Shobaki said on Tuesday that President Mahmoud Abbas is to meet Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques to coordinate policy ahead of U.S. President George W. Bush's Middle East trip.

During a short trip to Riyadh, President 'will brief the monarch on his recent talks in Washington and Moscow,' Jamal Shobaki said. 'They will also discuss coordinating their political stands during President Bush's upcoming visit to the region.'

President Bush, who is seeking a Middle East peace deal by year's end, will meet President Abbas in Egypt.

President Abbas, who met Bush at the White House last week, has warned of an 'extremely difficult impasse' if a peace deal isn't reached with Israel before Bush leaves office in January.
