BEIT HANOUN, April 29, 2008, (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened on Tuesday barrage of fire towards electricity company crews who were trying to restore electricity to the northern Strip after the occupation authorities have damaged the electricity grid and transformers.

WAFA correspondent said that the Israeli tanks, incurred in the area of Beit Hanoun opened fire towards the electricity company crews in the area of Beit Hanoun, Western customs and prevented them from reforming the electricity grid and transformers which were targeted during the invasion of the area at dawn yesterday.

He pointed out that the area north of the Gaza Strip is still sinking in darkness for the second day and that the IOF troops continued incursions and opening random fire.
