JERUSALEM, April 29, 2008, (WAFA)-A Prisoner's family appealed on Tuesday to all international human rights organizations, local and International Red Cross and the Arab Knesset members to intervene to save the life of its imprisoned son in Israeli jails.

The prisoner Bahjat Shkeirat of east Jerusalem suffered from a chronic disease in the chest led to the suspension of his left hand on the movement and also suffered from shortness of breath and needed to undergo surgery. Shkeirat was sentenced to twice life in prison, in Israeli jails.

Prisoners' club held Israeli prisons full responsibility for the life of the Shkeirat and demanded his release immediately to complete the necessary medical treatment to save his life.
