TUNIS, April 28, 2008, (WAFA)-President Zein el Abidine Ben Ali reiterated Tunisia's unwavering support to the Palestinian people's just cause and its backing to all efforts meant to enable this brotherly people to recover its legitimate rights and form its independent State
In an interview with 'La Presse' newspaper, published on Sunday, President Ben Ali voiced delight that France shares with Tunisia this view of a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East that must result necessarily in the creation of a sovereign state, corollary of a lasting security and stability for all peoples in the region.
The Head of state, added that Tunisia, which is strongly committed to seeking a negotiated an fair settlement, in compliance with the international law and pertinent resolutions of the United Nations, will continue to back up every peace initiative falling in line with this approach.
