Kuwaiti Leading MP Urges for Islamic Unity to Face Israeli Policies
KUWAIT, February 7, 2007 (WAFA) - Acting Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Mohammad Al-Busiry asserted Wednesday the necessity of Islamic unity to face the Israeli hostile designs against the holy Aqsa mosque and other Islamic sanctities in the occupied Palestine.
"Concerted efforts must be made to put an end to the Jewish designs targeting judaization of Jerusalem and the removal of Islamic landmarks there, " Al-Busiry told reporters here.
"All Arab and Islamic parliaments and mass media must shoulder their responsibilities to defend the holy city of Jerusalem and disclose the Israeli hostile practices against Islamic sanctities.
"The holy Aqsa mosque must be protected from the Israeli demolition works.
"The Muslims must work to stop the Israeli construction works near the Aqsa mosque whatever the Israeli justifications and claims about might be," the Kuwaiti parliamentarian added.
