Scores of Citizens Arrested by IOF in WB
JERUSALEM, February 7, 2007 (WAFA) - Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Wednesday scores of West Bank citizens, witnesses said.
Witnesses said that IOF troops arrested three students in East Jerusalem during a protest against the Israeli excavations and demolition in al-Aqsa Mosque. They were led to an undisclosed location.
In Qalqilya, three brothers were also arrested by Israeli soldiers who stormed houses and carried out search operations, according to witnesses.
Witnesses added that two other citizens were arrested in the same operation.
IOF also arrested a 19-year-old citizen after breaking into his house in Hebron, witnesses told WAFA. They added that another person was arrested in another operation in the city.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers stormed Nablus city, broke into houses and arrested two citizens from the city's refugee camp of Balata, witnesses affirmed.
In Bethlehem, Israeli troops arrested a citizen during a military offensive on the city's al-Khader town, leading him to an unknown spot.
