Zanoun Warns of Israel's Excavations in al-Aqsa
RAMALLAH, February 7, 2007 (WAFA) - Speaker of the Palestinian National Council, Saleem al-Zanounm warned Wednesday of the consequences of Israel's excavations and acts of demolition in al-Aqsa Mosque.
Al-Zanoun called, in a press release, for putting an end to these excavations around the Mosque, which aim at demolishing it.
He said the continuation of Israel's excavations will plunge the entire region a cycle of violence, calling for a Palestinian rising against the Israeli colonial and expansionist ambitions in Jerusalem.
