OSLO, January 23, 2007, (WAFA)-Head of PLO Political Department, Farouk Kaddoumi has appreciated efforts exerted by President Mahmoud Abbas on strengthening the national unity.

Addressing on Tuesday, in Oslo, the Palestinian Community, Coordination Committee of Parties and Parliament and Norwegian Non Governmental Organisations, Kaddoumi stated that talks held by President in Damascus support the interest of the Palestinian people, who suffers from siege and starvation due to Israeli occupation.

Kaddoumi briefed the representatives of Palestinian Community in Europe on the latest Palestinian, Arab and International exerted efforts as well as President's to unite the political stance and clinch to national rights and the right of the refugees to return home.
