Citizen Wounded, 12 others Arrested in WB
JENIN, January 15, 2007 (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) wounded citizens and arrested twelve others in the West Bank(WB) cities of Bethlehem, Nablus and Jenin, security and local sources said.
They added that Israeli soldiers stormed Um Salmona village, south Bethlehem, assaulted and beaten a rally protesting the construction of the Apartheid wall on citizens' land , wounding Mahmous Issa 38. They arrested the university student, Mohammed Hermas 20, of al-Dawha town, west the city.
In the meantime, Israeli troops burst into Nablus city, launched a search campaign and arrested seven citizens, including three brothers. The troops also arrested three citizens from balata refugee camp, locals said.
In Jenin, Israeli soldiers stormed Jenin refugee camp and arrested Mohammed al-Sa'di, leading him into an unknown location, witnesses said.
