Al-BEREIJ, January 14, 2007 (WAFA)- The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU) said Sunday that it signed an agreement with an Italian Group of Volunteers of Civilians (GVC) to execute some projects, in a total amount of USD 450,000.

In a statement, CMWU said that this agreement includes the construction of al-Bereij Desalination Plant, in a capacity of 60m3/hr, rehabilitation of an agricultural well in Al-Maghazi, by using equipments of an old well in order to be connected with Al-Bereij Network and Connecting of the UNICEF Wells in Al-Moghraqa to Al-Nusairat, in order to connect those wells with the main electricity network.
