BETHLEHEM, January 12, 2007, (WAFA) - Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Friday a citizen in the West Bank (WB) city of Bethlehem.

Eyewitnesses revealed that Israeli soldiers backed by tanks and armoured vehicles swept into al-Abidia village, north of Bethlehem city, and arrested a citizen, leading him into an unknown place.

Meanwhile, Ofer military court sentenced the citizen, Abdallah Basa 17, from Ramallah city, to 16 months in prison as well as a fine of 1000 NIS (New Israeli Shekel).
