President Calls for Self-Restraint and Strengthening National Unity
RAMALLAH, December 17, 2006 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas called Sunday on the Palestinians who support his speech on Presidential and Legislative early elections, to show self- restraint and not to be dragged into provocations that undermine "our democratic life".
"Our national unity is the source of our power and should be consolidated with democratic and honest dialogue between brothers. The political differences would be reduced through dialogue and return to the people, the reference of all authorities, and not through violence and planned attack against citizens," the President said.
