Solana Expresses Support for President Abbas
BRUSSELS, December 16, 2006 (WAFA) - Javier Solana, EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), expressed Saturday his support for President Mahmoud Abbas.
"I wish to reiterate my support for President Abbas and his efforts to overcome the current political crisis for the benefit of all Palestinians. Palestinian people are undergoing very difficult times," he said in a press release
He also call on all parts to exercise restraint and to calm the situation down.
