GAZA, May 11, 2004, (WAFA) – The number of Palestinians who were killed Tuesday in al-Zaytoon massacre in southern Gaza City by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) gunfire and Apache helicopters missiles mounted to eight and 110 others wounded, including 40 children, Palestinian medical sources reported.... The sources said that there are 15 civilians in serious conditions, including three in clinical death among the 110 casualties that have been shot and wounded by the Israeli soldiers so far.... Witnesses said that scores of Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles, backed by Apache helicopters stormed early on Tuesday the neighbourhood of al-Zaytoon amid intensive fire, shelling and heavy air bombardment using surface air missiles at civilian houses.... .
