HEBRON, May 10, 2004, (WAFA) – Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Monday two civilians amid heightened military restrictions and search campaigns in Hebron City of the West Bank, Palestinian local sources said.... The sources confirmed that the IOF soldiers arrested Atia Khater 28, and Iyad al-Haddad.... A brother of al-Haddad told WAFA that massive Israeli troops besieged the family house, forced all the members to leave out, and conducted a room-to room search campaign inside the house, arresting my brother Iyad. They also stole some of the family personal belongings.... Meanwhile, IOF troops, backed by military vehicles, conducted a search campaign in Yatta town of Hebron, witnesses said.... They added that the IOF, backed by about 50 Israeli soldiers, conducted a door-to-door search campaign into different areas of the town.... IOF, also, furthered the tight military closure imposed on the city a week ago, erecting more checkpoints so as to provocatively deny the civilians’ access from-into it....
