Ramallah,ýý ýFebruary 29ý,ýý ý2004(WAFA) President Yasser Arafat Saturday sent a message to President of Malta.
Mr. Arafat briefed Prof. Guido de Marco on the latest Israeli escalations against the Palestinian people including Israeli siege, assassinations, house demolition, colonies’ expansion and construction of the Apartheid Wall.
In his message, President Arafat clarified his counterpart on the Latest Israeli unprecedented aggression against banks and other institutions in the Palestinian cities.
Arafat made it clear that the Israeli Occupation Forces broke into three banks in Ramallah City confiscating millions of US Dollars under weak pretexts, adding that Israel is severely violating the signed agreements which gives these banks the right to work inside the Palestinian Authority’s lands.
President Arafat called upon the Maltese President to exert efforts in co-operation with the international community and Quartet committee for an immediate intervention to end the Israeli aggression against Palestinian people and to stop the construction of the Apartheid Wall.
