RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 07, 2019 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) criticized in a statement today the decision by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to consider the Hamas-run Al-Aqsa satellite TV station as a terrorist organization, stressing that the Israeli occupation is the root of all terrorism and racism in the region and the world at large.

It said that this decision is part of the open war waged by the Israeli occupiers against Palestinian journalists and media outlets and gives legitimacy to these attacks, targeting particularly Al-Aqsa TV and its staff.

It called on Al-Aqsa station staff to continue with their work as usual.

Israel had previously bombed and destroyed Al-Aqsa TV headquarters in Gaza, but it continued to operate from other locations.
