Abbas sends condolences to Russia for assassination of its ambassador to Turkey

RAMALLAH, December 21, 2016 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Wednesday offered his condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over the murder of Russian ambassador to Turkey on Monday.

Abbas telegraphed Putin offering him and the Russian people his condolences and support following the assassination of Russian ambassador, Andrey Karlov, at an art gallery in Ankara.

Abbas reiterated his utmost condemnation of terrorism in all of its forms and the need to take all possible measures to defeat it.
