 RAMALLAH, December 5, 2016 (WAFA) – More than 1400 members of Fatah’s seventh congress elected on Saturday 18 people for the Central Committee and 80 for the Revolutionary Council.

Official results were announced during the closing session of the congress held on Sunday evening at the Muqata, the presidential headquarters, in Ramallah. The results showed that six new members were added to the Central Committee while 12 were reelected. Outgoing members included Nabil Shaath, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, Zakaria al-Agha and Tayib Abdul Rahim.
