RAMALLAH, August 16, 2026 (WAFA) — The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said that 1,000 days have passed since detainees in Israeli prisons were isolated and deprived of their rights, including the right to communicate with the outside world.
In a statement today, the commission said the violations have continued amid Israel’s ongoing ban on the International Committee of the Red Cross from visiting detainees and inspecting their conditions.
