RAMALLAH, July 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities issued and renewed administrative detention orders against 93 detainees, including three females, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Wednesday.
The period of detention varied between three and six months.
In a joint statement, the commission and PPS said Israel continues to escalate the use of administrative detention under the pretext of possessing a “secret file".
According to the commission and PPS, the number of administrative detainees had reached 3,376 as of last May.
