BETHLEHEM, June 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished on Tuesday the sports field of Battir Secondary School for Boys in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem.
Akram Bader, head of the Battir municipal council, told WAFA that occupation forces stormed the town deployed around the school near the railway line before demolishing the retaining wall surrounding the field and completely bulldozing its surface.
Badr said the sports field was built over 60 years old and has long served as one of the town's key sports and community facilities.
