JERUSALEM, June 14, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained seven Palestinians, including a father and his four sons, from the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem, on Sunday morning, according to local sources.
The Jerusalem Governorate, citing local sources, said Israeli forces detained Aref Salameh from the Dahiyat Al-Salam area of the town, along with four of his sons. The forces also detained Zain Nabil Salameh and Adam Salameh from the town.
The detentions come amid an escalation in Israeli military raids and detention campaigns in Anata in recent weeks.
