GAZA, May 28, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed and others were injured Thursday evening in an Israeli airstrike on the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Medical sources said that one person was killed and five others were injured and taken to the Arab National Hospital (Baptist Hospital) following the Israeli airstrike on the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,819, with 172,894 injured, since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.

The sources added that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 16 bodies and 39 injured people in the past 48 hours.
