RAMALLAH, May 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked on Monday evening a farmstead on the outskirts of Abwein village, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They said that dozens of colonists attacked a villager’s agricultural structure, wreaking havoc inside.
There were no reports of casualties.
They added that the attack was concurrent with an upsurge of colonist attacks against Palestinian towns and villages in the northwestern rural Ramallah, particularly following the recent establishment of pastoral colonial outposts.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
