BETHLEHEM, May 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked on Saturday Palestinian homes in the Khala’il al-Luz area, southeast of Bethlehem.

Security sources told WAFA correspondent that dozens of colonists stormed Khala’il al-Luz and gathered near the university housing complex, where they attacked Palestinian homes with stones, though no injuries were reported.

The sources added that the colonists also grazed their sheep on Palestinian-owned land in Khala’il al-Luz, amidst deliberate provocations and harassment.

The Khala’il al-Luz neighborhood has been witnessing a continuous escalation of colonist violence, under the protection of Israeli forces. This violence includes intimidating residents, attacking their homes with stones, confiscating land, demolishing agricultural structures, and vandalizing olive trees and other Palestinian property.
