NABLUS, January 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces tightened military measures at checkpoints surrounding the city of Nablus on Monday.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces intensified their procedures at several checkpoints around Nablus, conducting thorough searches of vehicles and checking the IDs of Palestinian citizens, causing severe traffic congestion.
The sources added that the occupation forces closed the checkpoint 17 north of the city and the Deir Sharaf checkpoint to the west, preventing vehicles from entering or exiting through them.
