GAZA, January 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continue their violations in the Gaza Strip, with renewed shelling, gunfire, and ground incursions reported in several areas across the territory.

WAFA correspondents said Israeli warplanes targeted the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City on Sunday morning, while military vehicles advanced toward the vicinity of al-Qaaqaa Mosque on al-Shaaf Street, carrying out excavation works accompanied by heavy gunfire.

Israeli military vehicles also fired machine gunfire intensively at tents and homes in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Artillery shelling and gunfire by Israeli occupation forces also continue east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11 last year, more than 1,820 Palestinians have been killed or injured as a result of over 1,300 violations of the agreement carried out by the Israeli occupation forces.
