GAZA, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – A limited number of aid trucks loaded with gas and fuel began entering the Gaza Strip this evening, after Israel had prevented their entry for two years.
Eyewitnesses reported the arrival of a limited number of trucks carrying gas and fuel through the Karem Abu Salem crossing, under the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on Friday.
For two years of genocide, Israel had prevented the entry of gas and fuel into the Gaza Strip, except for limited quantities allowed during the truce period last January and small amounts delivered to international organizations for distribution to vital sectors, including hospitals.
For more than two months, Israel has allowed the entry of aid trucks at a daily average of 60 to 70, in addition to a limited number of commercial trucks; however, none of them carried gas or fuel.
The first phase of the ceasefire agreement came into effect on Friday.
