RAMALLAH, June 23, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs has warned of a dangerous escalation in Israel’s ongoing policy of denying legal access to Palestinian prisoners.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Commission held the occupation authorities fully responsible for the lack of transparency surrounding human rights violations inside Israeli custody .
It further revealed that over the past ten days, approximately 500 detainees, including women, have been denied visits by their legal representatives, describing it as a grave act of isolation and repression.
The Commission called on the international community to intervene immediately and pressure Israel to comply with international law.
