Eight Palestinians detained by Israeli forces in Nablus

NABLUS, February 23, 2025 (WAFA) – At least eight Palestinians were detained last night during raids by the Israeli army in multiple areas of the Nablus province in the northern West Bank, according to Palestinian security and local sources.

Forces stormed the village of Deir el-Hatab, east of Nablus, and detinned six Palestinians, including one father, Rakez Kassab, and his two sons, Tamer and Nour, and another father, Muhannad Kassab, and his two sons, Muhab and Bahaa.

Simultaneously, another Israeli army unit stormed the city of Nablus, where at least two more Palestinians were detained after the army raided and searched their homes.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
