GAZA, January 30, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of released Palestinian detainees arrived in the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening as part of the third batch of prisoners freed under the ceasefire agreement with the Israeli occupation.

According to WAFA correspondent, nine former detainees entered Gaza through the Karm Abu Salem crossing, east of Rafah, under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The released prisoners were immediately transferred to the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, for necessary medical examinations.

The broader release included 110 detainees, according to the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society. Among them were 32 prisoners serving life sentences, 48 others with varying sentences, and 30 children.
