HEBRON, October 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces conducted widespread raids in the Hebron province early this morning, resulting in the detention of more than 24 individuals, including minors, according to local sources.

The majority of those detained were taken from the town of Beit Ummar, where troops stormed several neighborhoods and raided and searched a number of homes.

According to local activist Mohammed Awad, the offensive in Beit Ummar included significant house searches and instances of physical assault against locals.

He reported that 20 local residents were detained during the Israeli raid into the town. Among the detained minors are 17-year-old Yusuf Adi and 16-year-old Wadi Awad, as well as others aged 17.

In a separate incursion into Hebron city, additional detentions were made as Israeli occupation forces searched multiple homes, reportedly damaging personal belongings during the raids.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for detentions or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
