JENIN, Saturday, July 27, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians in multiple incidents over the past few hours from the town of Kafr Ra'i, in the northern West Bank province of Jenin, according to Palestinian security sources.
An Israeli military force stormed the town this morning, detaining three Palestinians after raiding their homes and searching their belongings. Additionally, the forces arrested two brothers from the town while they were inside the 1948 territories.
In related news, Walid Yahya, the town's mayor, reported to WAFA that Fadi Sawalha, a local resident who had been abducted by Israeli forces last Wednesday during a raid into the town, was found this morning bound to a tree in the woods near the town of Yabad.
He had been subjected to physical assault by Israeli soldiers and was subsequently transported to Jenin Government Hospital for medical treatment.
