RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 04, 2024 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today congratulated Claudia Sheinbaum on her election as the President of the  United States of Mexico President.

President Abbas extended his most sincere greetings in a cable addressed to his Mexico’s President-elect Sheinbaum, and wished her success in fulfilling the aspirations and goals of the friendly Mexican people.

He voiced his pride in the friendly and cooperative relations between Palestine and the United States of Mexico and keenness to optimally further such relations, while thanking Mexico for its unwavering positions in solidarity with the Palestinian people’s legitimate struggle for freedom and independence.

He wished happiness and health to President-elect Sheinbaum and more stability and prosperity to Mexico and the Mexican people.
