GAZA, Monday, April 22, 2024 (WAFA) – At least four civilians today were killed and others injured in an Israeli aerial and artillery strike targeting the Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip.
Medical sources said that four Palestinian citizens were killed and and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that hit a residential building in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Additionally, scores of civilians were injured as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a residential apartment near the Nuseirat Mosque in the center of the Gaza Strip.
The occupation warplanes also bombed a house in the Al-Sahaba area in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has resulted in 34,151 documented Palestinian fatalities so far, with the majority being children and women. In addition, 77,084 injuries have been documented since the start of the onslaught.
In this context, thousands of people are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed houses and buildings, presumed dead, and that civil and ambulance crews are unable to reach them due to the ongoing Israeli shelling and a lack of adequate equipment.
