GAZA, Thursday, April 18, 2024 (WAFA) – At least four civilians were killed and others were injured this evening in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent reported that at least four Palestinians were killed and others were injured in the bombing by Israeli warplanes of a house sheltering displaced people, including members of the Abu Jiyab family, in the Al-Shati camp.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City, resulting in injuries among civilians who were transported to the Arab Al-Ahli Hospital in the city.
In the central Gaza Strip, ambulance and rescue crews managed to retrieve the bodies of two martyrs after the Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Qishlan family in the New Camp area in Nusseirat refugee camp. The two were transported to Al-Awda Hospital in the camp.
In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th has resulted in 33,970 documented Palestinian fatalities, the majority of whom are children and women, in addition to 76,770 injuries. Thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
