Three Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza Strip

GAZA, Tuesday, April 18, 2024 (WAFA) – Three civilians today were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike in the Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that at least three civilians were killed and dozens of others were wounded as a result of occupation artillery shelling in the Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that the number of people killed in the occupation's bombing of displaced people in Rafah city rose to 11 after ambulances and rescue teams managed to recover the bodies of three people from the rubble of destroyed buildings and houses in the city.

Earlier yesterday, at least eight civilians from the Ayyad family, including five children and two women, all of whom were displaced from Gaza City, were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting an agricultural land in the Al-Salam neighborhood, south of the city of Rafah.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has resulted in 33,899 documented Palestinian fatalities, in addition to 76,664 injuries since October 7, 2023.

Moreover, at least 7,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.
