GAZA, Monday, April 15, 2024 (WAFA) – Almost a score of displaced people today were injured by Israeli occupation bullets while trying to return to their homes in the northern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the occupation warboats opened fire on hundreds of displaced people who were trying to return to their homes in Gaza City and the north Governorate via Al-Rashid Street, wounding at least two.
Meanwhile, a child died from injuries she sustained yesterday after her family had been targeted by the occupation forces as they attempted to return to the northern Gaza Strip via Al-Rashid Street.
Earlier yesterday, at least five civilians, including a woman, were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting displaced people on Al-Rashid Street while they were trying to return to the northern Gaza Strip.
Additionally, the occupation warplanes targeted a house east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, coinciding with artillery shelling on the western areas of Gaza City and north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The number of civilians killed since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 has reached 33,729. Some 76,371 others have been injured.
Thousands remain missing under rubble or scattered on the roads, as ambulances and rescue teams continue to report their inability to reach them.
