Three children injured in an assault by Israeli soldiers north of Hebron

HEBRON, Thursday, April 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Three Palestinian children were injured this evening as a result of an assault by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Ummar, located north of Hebron in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed the Dahr neighborhood, on the outskirts of the town, amidst gunfire and the use of tear gas and stun grenades against the local Palestinian residents.

The forces raided several homes in the neighborhood, where they assaulted Ayham Ziyad Awad (15 years old) and his brother, Ibrahim (13 years old), as well as their cousin Muhammad Issam Awad (13 years old), beating them with rifle butts.

The assault resulted in the three children sustaining bruises and contusions, and were treated by local paramedics.
