BETHLEHEM, March 19, 2024 (WAFA) - A young man died of wounds he sustained when Israeli occupation forces shot him earlier this evening south of Bethlehem.
The occupation forces fired bullets at Ziad Hamran, 31, near the entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, adjacent to the intersection of the colonial settlement of Gush Etzion, which is built on citizens' lands south of Bethlehem, security sources told WAFA.
The occupation forces left Hamran bleeding on the ground until he passed away before withholding his body, the sources added.
WAFA correspondent reported that Hamran was from the village of Al-Hashimiyeh, west of Jenin, noting that the village witnessed a massive march after the announcement of his killing, denouncing the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people.
Israeli sources claimed that Hamran carried out a shooting attack at the Gush Etzion intersection, which resulted in the injury of two Israeli soldiers, one of them suffering serious injuries.
