Since October 7th, Israel has detained 7,170 Palestinians from the West Bank

RAMALLAH, Thursday, February 22, 2024 (WAFA) – The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said that the Israeli occupation forces have detained about 7,170 citizens from the West Bank since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, on October 7th, 2023.

The Commission and the PPS explained, in a press statement, that the ongoing and escalating detention campaigns in an unprecedented manner come within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against Palestinian people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, after October 7th, as it targeted everyone, including children, women, the elderly, and the sick, in an unprecedented manner.

Since yesterday evening, the Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 18 people from the West Bank, including a woman, two children, and former detainees.
