JERUSALEM, Monday, January 22, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli forces today attacked a Palestinian journalist in the town of al-Issawiya, in occupied East Jerusalem. They further stormed the Shufat refugee camp to the northeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.

Sources said that forces attacked and obstructed the work of journalist Ahmad Jalajel while he was covering the Israeli forces’ incursion into the said town.

Forces also raided the home of a freed prisoner from Israeli jails during the raid.

The occupation forces further stormed the northern parts of the Shufat camp and attacked residents with tear gas canisters. However, no injuries or detentions were reported.
