Dozens of civilians killed in the non-stop Israeli airstrikes in Gaza

GAZA, Monday, January 22, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli warplanes at Monday dawn launched a barrage of airstrikes on several areas across Gaza Strip, targeting the western area of the city and Khan Yunis city.

Israeli fighter jets bombed, with several missiles, the Bureij camp, causing partial damage.

Israeli warplanes carried out intense artillery shelling of the western areas of Gaza City, coinciding with the ongoing Israeli tanks and military vehicles incursion into the eastern area.

The occupation forces carried out fierce and intense airstrikes in the areas between the eastern Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip,

According to local sources, the artillery shelling on Khan Yunis city last night is considred the heaviest since the beginning of the aggression. 

Israeli warplanes further shelled several homes in the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Yunis, and leveled multiple homes to the ground.

At least 12 citizens, including 3 children and a woman, were killed in Khan Yunis following an Israeli airstrike.

Israeli air forces also bombed the eastern neighborhoods of Al- Shejaeya and Al-Daraj in the Gaza Strip.

The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th has risen to about 25,105, while 62,681 were injured, the majority of whom are women and children. Thousands are still missing under the rubble.
