TULKARM, January 17, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces arrested five volunteering paramedics of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in the occupied West Bank province of Tulkarm this evening, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent said the Israeli occupation forces detained the volunteers from the Tulkarm camp while they were providing first aid to individuals with various health conditions and injuries during the ongoing Israeli raid of the camp.
Despite confirming their identities and their distinct ambulance attire, the volunteers were forcefully taken to field investigation centers established during the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Tulkarm city and refugee camp, according to the Red Crescent.
The arrested volunteers have been identified as Hamza Shreim, Essam Abu Issa, Namer Fayyat, Mohammed Dameri, and Mohammed Abu Dayya.
