GAZA, Saturday, November 18, 2023 (WAFA) – Dozens of innocent civilians were massacred and many others wounded today in a series of Israeli airstrikes in various locations across the Gaza Strip, further adding to the constantly rising death toll, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent on the ground said Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building in the Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the confirmed death of four civilians so far and leaving dozens more injured.
In the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza, medical sources reported that 60 casualties were admitted to the hospital due to the ongoing bombardment from various locations across the northern Gaza Strip.
In addition to the human toll, Israeli airstrikes destroyed a residential building in the vicinity of the Beit Lahia Square in northern Gaza.
Emergency response teams, including medical and civil defense personnel, are facing extreme challenges in reaching the targeted areas, hindering the retrieval of the bodies of the victims and the evacuation of the wounded.
This situation is exacerbated by the fact that 26 out of the 35 hospitals in Gaza are currently out of service. The situation on the ground remains dire, with the civilian population bearing the brunt of the Israeli genocide in the besieged territory.
