NABLUS, Thursday, November 9, 2023 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed and 17 others sustained injuries from Israeli gunfire today during an Israeli raid into Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to Palestinian security and medical sources.
The Ministry of Health said Azmi Qadri Hattab, 22, was shot dead by a live Israeli bullet to the abdomen during the Israeli raid into the camp. At least 17 others were reported injured.
Earlier today, a large-scale Israeli military force stormed the refugee camp in the afternoon hours, sparking confrontations with local residents, during which 17 local Palestinians suffered injuries from Israeli gunfire.
The Israeli attack on the camp coincides with another Israeli raid into the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank, during which at least nine Palestinians have been confirmed killed by Israeli gunfire so far.
